  • My new #1…a vast majority of their beef comes from Black Angus cattle in Iowa, (Go Hawkeyes), the owner and I had a lengthy conversation about the beef. They have Wagyu as well, comes from Australia…the owner gave me the rundown on strict the Aussie “FDA” on Wagyu. They sell have Amish chickens/cutlets, milk and hand-churned butter!!! As well as some fancy butter I.E. steak topper butter. A Band saw is only used when they cut meat that’s bone-in, everything else is cut via knife! (That’s a rarity)

  • I happen to see someone mention a new butcher shop on a Denton FB page earlier this week and thought I'd give it a try. The steaks were top notch, the prices were more than reasonable and the owners were very welcoming, informative and appreciative! They've earned my business!
